Christopher Malskaitis
July 7, 2025
Suddenly at home on Monday, July 7th, 2025, at the age of 56. Beloved husband of Dianne for 27 years. Loving dad of Alyssa (Alex), Jordan (Leah), and Ellie. Dear son of Norma Vandevyvere. Brother of Kim Carson (Jackie), Waite, Joe (Lichelle). Son-in-law of Barb Black. Brother-in-law of Darlene McCutcheon (Andrew), and close friends Paula and Steve. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews and their families, as well as his many friends and neighbours. Predeceased by father Waite, stepfather Peter Vandevyvere, and father-in-law Harvey Black.
Chris was loved more than he knew. He was a loving husband, wonderful father, brother, son, and uncle. He loved green grass and clean cars, he thought everyone needed WeatherTech car mats. He loved fishing, biking, gardening, and puttering. He loved Frosty Queen fries, vacuuming, and Wordle. He loved feeding the birds and got pleasure in quizzing everyone on what bird was making that sound. He loved sports, and Overdrive was his thing, and of course, the Toronto Blue Jays and the Leafs – maybe this will be their year. But out of everything, nothing came close to the love he had for his wife and beautiful children, whom he was so proud of. Remember him with a smile, he will always be with us and will not be forgotten.
Cremation has taken place. Please join us in a come and go celebration of life for Chris on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 at Northview Funeral Home, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Feel free to wear your favourite jersey, with bonus points if it’s a Leafs or Jays jersey.
