My deepest condolences to all the family and friends. Phyllis was a one of kind, proud Irish-Canadian and a wonderful, loyal friend to our mom Jean. She was a constant visitor to mom during her last few years and brought the gifts of joy and laughter whenever she was there. For that we are eternally grateful. She will be missed by everyone.
Lots of love from Ireland for Auntie Philly, always a bright, loving and smiling joy to be around, as a boy when I travelled to Canada, she made our visit a joy I remember to this day, Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Shocked and sad to hear of the passing of auntie Phyllie. Phyllie was a wonderful, vibrant person who brought much fun, warmth and love every time she returned home to Ireland. I will remember Phyllie for her appetite to embrace new adventures and travel, her joy for gardening, her delight for baking the best homemade tiramisu and showcasing the ‘Céad Míle Fáilte (One Hundred Thousand Welcomes) with style in her beautiful home. Phyllie showed a special kind of enthusiasm for taking photos and capturing the many Irish family reunions (The Bridge, Dublin 1). Phyllie warmly spoke of her grá for her church & community and Daniel O Donnell. Phyllie religiously shared her love for her dear friends and especially her beloved Don, Phyllis, Donald, in-laws and all her wonderful grandchildren. Phyllie was a special lady that shared her kind Irish heart. She was the gift that kept giving and will always be remembered with love.
So sorry to hear about Phyllis she was a great friend and always made you very welcome in her home. Phyllis will be greatly missed.
