Maureen and I were introduced during my 10-month temporary position in the School of Continuing Education, Fanshawe College. It was obvious that she was well-liked and ever so competent in her job, and I enjoyed her laughter while appreciating how welcoming she was to the ‘newbie’. In later years when we met, her calm, her unfailing gracious demeanour towards others, and her strength to just keep going touched us all without a doubt. Krista, your family’s extended stay with your Mom and Dad during your maternity leave meant absolutely everything to her. She was radiant during our conversation about that, then it led to a further chat about her whole family…her whole world. You have all gone to such lengths to support Maureen and each other for so many years, and I am deeply sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Carol Carroll
