Peacefully with family by his side, at University Hospital, London on Monday, December 29th, 2025. Robert “Bob” of London, in his 94th year. Predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Juliette (2024). Loving father of Brian Van Biesbrouck (Leanne Beattie) and Pamela Reilly (Jim). Adored grandfather of Regan D’Agostino (Sonny), Gavin Van Biesbrouck, Brandon Reilly (Amanda) and Brent Reilly (Vanessa Woods). Predeceased by granddaughter Blaire Reilly. Dear great-grandfather of Isaak Van Biesbrouck, Lola D’Agostino, William and Michael Reilly. Robert is survived by his sister Lenore Bedford (Murray). Predeceased by his sister Denise DeWitte (late Archie). Brother-in-law to Dianna Swift (late Larry), Jean Earley (Jim), Louise Kaloyanis (late John), Jules Staal (Cathy) and predeceased by Mary Kys (late Frank). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Bob’s interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 12:15 p.m. to be followed by a Celebration of his Life at Northview Funeral Home, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff at University Hospital for their exemplary care during his final days.

I have known him for four years. He was a kind and fun guy, always had a good joke ready. He will be missed.
