Silvano Bonaccini

On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, The Village of Glendale Crossing, Silvano Bonaccini passed away peacefully at the age of 103. He is reunited with his beloved wife, Luisa Bonaccini, who predeceased him on December 17, 1999.

Silvano was the loving father of Roberta Purvis and her husband John Purvis, and Gloria Bonaccini and her husband Antonio Santarelli. Cherished Nonno of Veronica Curtosi and her husband William Curtosi, Emily Purvis and her fiancé Ryan Ponich, and Marco Santarelli. He was predeceased by his brother, Riccardo Bonaccini of Italy, in 2005. Silvano will also be fondly remembered by his extended family in Italy.

Born in Montevarchi, Italy  to Gaetano and Flora Bonaccini, Silvano immigrated with his family to Canada several times before finally settling in London in 1971.

Silvano had an adventurous spirit, a wonderful sense of humour, and a unique way of fixing things that still brings laughter to his family today. Above all else, he believed deeply in the importance of family and loved life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at The Village of Glendale Crossing, who held a special place in their hearts for Silvano and provided him with compassionate care.
