Kenneth “Ken” Edward Smithers
December 9, 1945 - September 4, 2026
Peacefully at his home on September 4, 2026, Kenneth “Ken” Edward Smithers passed away at the age of 80. Loving husband of Lynda Smithers for 39 years. Devoted father to Alysha Smithers. Dear brother to Tina Schoffer, Lucy England and the late Don Schoffer. Ken will be missed by many other family and friends. Ken adored his cats Kosie and Smokey who comforted him in his last days and remained devoted to him.
Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. For those wishing to make a memorial donation, please consider Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre or a charity of your choice in memory of Ken.
