Peacefully with family by her side, at Victoria Hospital, on Thursday, July 30, 2020, in her 68th year. Beloved longtime partner of the late Jim Smith. Loving daughter of Eleanor Hack and the late Michael Hack. Loving mother of Scott (Wendy), Jeff (Michelle) and Nicole; and step-mother of Theresa Stevens (Talbot), Sheri Lynn Rioux (Pierre) and Jay Smith (Tara). Adored grandmother of Ryan (Dakota), Jordan (Andrew), Lindsey (Kyle), Michael (Valerie), Matthew, Jacob, Makenna, Dylan, Aleisha; and her step-grandchildren Derek, Ryan, Kristin, Natasha, Yanik, Brayden, Hunter, and Kiera. Dear great-grandmother of Cole, Koen, Bentley, Dexter, and soon to arrive Nora. Also loved by her nieces Danielle and Randelle Vallieres. Predeceased by her sister Debbie Vallieres. The interment of cremated remains will take place on Sunday, August 16 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Cemetery, 30200 West Bothwell Road, Bothwell. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Marie are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.
