Bernadette Lorraine Alice Heinrich (née Paré)

Peacefully with family by her side, at University Hospital, London, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, Bernadette Heinrich passed away in her 82^nd year. Beloved wife of Herman Heinrich for 61 years. Loving mother of David Heinrich and partner Irene, Thomas Heinrich and wife Elaine, and Adam Love and wife Jenny. Predeceased by father Léo Joseph Paré and mother Lorraine Cecile Paré (née Brunelle). Adored grandmother of Jennifer, Michael, Joseph, Katherine, Reneé, James, John and Xander. Dear sister of Félicien Paré and Loraine Paré. Cremation has taken place per Bernadette’s wishes.

Bernadette was a rare soul of great compassion who opened her heart to all those who entered her life. Very early in her life she followed a mission of helping others. After graduating from St. Mary’s Academy in 1957, she enrolled in Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph in Windsor, and received her nursing diploma three years later. That same year she married the love of her life, Herman Heinrich and together they brought three wonderful sons into the world. During this time Bernadette became a registered nurse and began her lifelong mission of service. In her later years she took a special interest in psychiatric and mental health. After retiring, Bernie and Herman moved to Florida to live out their golden years. Bernadette will be remembered by all as a true friend with an open heart and a kind, compassionate spirit. We will miss her deeply.

A private family celebration will be held at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bernadette are asked to consider a charity of your choice.
