Bernie peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at Victoria Hospital, on January 25, 2023 at the age of 59. Bernie will be dearly missed by his mother Gidget Lindsay, his brother Chad (Susan) of Chatham and his sister Gidget (Robert) Beiwinkler. Loving father to Kourtney, Chrystal, Amber and Rachel. Fondly remembered by his nephew Chad, his niece Sommer and by many grandchildren and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, and on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London.
Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the Canadian Liver Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

I was a child hood school mate of the boys. My sympathies go out to the family, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!
Gidget, I was sad for you and your family to learn of Bernie’s passing. You have told me over the past few years how much he was suffering, and more recently about his decline and however difficult it must be for you and his family, Bernie is at rest now with more dialysis. I am truly sorry for your loss of your son!
