David E. Holmes of London passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 65. David was born September 1, 1958 to Donald Holmes and Barbara Baird in Sarnia, Ontario. He is survived by his wife Belen, his son Daniel, his father Donald, sisters Karen and Moira and brother James. He will surely be missed by all of his relatives, friends and coworkers at Canada Post where he worked for 35 years. Predeceased by his mother Barbara and brother Jeffrey.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Reception will be held at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. with remembrances to be given at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of David are asked to consider a charity of your choice.
