Don “Donnie” Manns

At home on Sunday, December 17, 2023, with family by his side, Don “Donnie” Manns of London in his 74th year. Beloved husband and best friend to Doris Lodin. Loving father of Eric (Jamie) Manns of Glencoe, and Andrea (Chris) Weirmier of Cambridge. Proud Grandpa D to Patrick, Clarke and Drew Manns, and Carly and Nathan Weirmier. Dear brother to Carinne (Reg) Loren, and the late Brenda Lee. Donnie will be fondly remembered by sisters and brothers-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a service to celebrate Don’s life will be announced in the near future. Those wishing to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Salvation Army.

Condolences Doris, to you and your family. Don was a wonderful human and will be greatly missed.
So sorry to hear of Dons passing. He was a great guy and I really enjoyed golfing with him. Kindest condolences to Doris and his family.
I didn't know Don for a long time but during our friendship, I knew him to be a great friend, always smiling, with a wonderful sense of humour, a calm demeanor, and a true gentleman. I will miss our joking about whether his golf ball ensignia is an A or a D, and rehashing our golf game over a beer (or two). The memories of our friendship will last for the rest of my life.
Doris, I am sorry to hear about Don's passing. I always enjoyed my conversations with him along with his sense of humor. All the best to you and your family during this difficult time.

Doris, I am so very sorry for your loss. I am at a loss to express how much I admired and respected him as a coworker but more importantly as a wonderful man who loved his family. May your grief be slightly eased by knowing how much he meant to so many people. I will remember him with love and great respect.
