Doreen Morris

September 21, 1953 - April 8, 2023

Doreen Morris passed away at home with her family lovingly at her side on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the age of 69. Doreen’s love for life, her kindness, laughter and beautiful smile reached out to many. Doreen will be missed by her beloved spouse Ronnie and loving children Mike Morris and his wife Shelly and Michelle Morris-Dallaire and her husband Dan. Doreen had a special spot in her heart for her precious grandchildren who she dearly loved – Brittany and Sarah Hughes, Daniel and Abbigale Morris and baby Bradley who she is with now. Doreen will be dearly missed by her brothers Jim Forster and his wife Cheryl and Bruce Forster and his wife Cathy; sister-in-law Beth Kirby and brother-in-law Tom Caldwell. Predeceased by her brother Richard Forster and sister Susan Forster. Aunt Doreen will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and their children. She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Dorothy Forster and her mother-in-law Renie, with whom she had a very special bond and father-in-law John who she unfortunately only met once.

Doreen loved to sit in the sunshine with a good book, a word search puzzle and enjoy a cup of tea with her many friends in London and Ridgeway. She also dearly cherished her annual trips to Nova Scotia.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Doreen are asked to consider Meals on Wheels London.

Special thanks to the staff of London Health Sciences – Victoria Campus, the doctors, nurses and PSW’s who came to her home to provide care and compassion.
