Doug was PROMOTED TO GLORY on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from University Hospital, London, in his 92nd year. Cherished husband of Mary for 72 years. Loving father of Judy and Bill Marsh, and Peter and Karen Hewitt (predeceased by daughter-in-law Cathy, 2017). Proud Grandpa/Pa to 18, and adored Great Grandpa to 16. Loved by his sisters, brothers, and large extended family. Fondly remembered by Mary’s family, and his many friends.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at The Salvation Army, Hillcrest Community Church, 310 Vesta Road, London, on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make donations in memory of Doug are asked to consider The Salvation Army, Hillcrest Community Church, or the London Regional Cancer Program.
