Elvira Rizzolo (née Grasso)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Elvira Rizzolo, who passed away on October 12, 2026 at the age of 92. She was born on June 24, 1934, and was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank, her parents and her sisters. She is survived by her brother Gulio Grasso (Celestina) of UK.

Elvira will be deeply missed by her daughter, Angela (Pat DiCicco) and her son, Olindo (Dianne Masur), her grandchildren, Francine, John, Erica (Riley) and Abby (Chris) and her cherished great-granddaughter, Hailey.

Elvira was a loving and welcoming person who had a special way of making everyone she met feel comfortable and cared for. Her home was always a place of warmth, love, and, of course, wonderful food. She loved to cook and took great joy in preparing meals for her family and the people she loved.

She was also an avid gardener, taking pride in her garden and finding happiness in watching things grow and flourish.

Elvira worked at Marian Villa until her retirement, where she dedicated many years of her life to her work and the people around her.

She leaves behind a lifetime of love and countless cherished memories. Her kindness, warmth, generous spirit and her great smile, will live on in the hearts of her family and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Visitation will be held at Northview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 2:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Parish, 511 Cheapside Street, London on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London.
