With family by his side, at University Hospital, London, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, Eric Wee of London, in his 69th year. Beloved husband to Ruby for 42 years. Loving Dad to Evan (Mai Phan) Wee, Erin Vandendyck (Ryan) and Ryan Wee. Dear brother of Gek Imm (deceased), Gek Suan, Cheow Yong (deceased), Jee Lin, Chow Hou, Jee Pang, Chow Wah, Chow Leng and Chow Yong. Grandfather to Archer and Arielle Wee and Eliora and Ronen Vandendyck.
The funeral service will be conducted at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Dear Aunty Ruby and cousins Evan, Erin, Ryan, Mai, Ryan Vandendyck: I share your pain on the passing of Uncle Eric Chew Pah. He was no ordinary uncle to me as we grew up together, served as commission officers in SAF and earned MBA degree from the same university. I have confidence that through Christ, Uncle Eric is with Creator God - - - 尽管我身心俱衰， 上帝永远是我心中的力量。Despite my physical and mental decline, God will always be the strength of my heart. - 诗篇 Psalm 73:26
Thank you Mr Wee for all your guidance. You were my first boss and I am really glad to hv you as a mentor, coach and friend. You hv definitely influenced and guided me to be the leader I am now. Dear Ruby, though we only met a few times (more than 20 yrs ago), I still remember you through his stories of you. My most sincere condolences.
May the Lord comfort and console you all during this time of grief and loss. Mr Wee was my ex-boss at MCMD, Ministry of Defence. He was a jovial, friendly and sincere man who often gave me advice on life and work. Appreciated his care and concern greatly.
