With sympathy to all who will greatly miss Erma! She was a beam of light to so many. She was the one who helped my mother deliver my baby sister. As I asked her input for memories during that time she shared how God had a hand in her preparedness for this event. Erma was pumping gas at her father's garage for the pastor from the Hawkesville Mennonite Church. He asked her why she wasn't taking the St. John's Ambulance course at the school? She stopped pumping gas, changed her dress and went. That was the winter prior to her coming to help our family. This was how Erma knew how to deliver a baby! I remember at bedtime instead of going to bed to sleep my sister Dorothy and I would hop into bed with Erma for giggles and laughter before crawling back into our bed to go to sleep! I wish I could have joined you in saying good-bye. I received the news too late! It was a beautiful service! May God comfort you all as you proceed your journey without her! With thoughts and prayers Bea

To the Kampers & Brubacher Families. Our family got to know Erma when Noah Romer- about 4 yrs of age-and his family moved in next door. We had lots of conversations over the years and neighbours often stopped in for a visit when Erma & Noah were outside. Erma shared stories of her family and how blessed she was to be part of your lives. Erma was a guest at our daughter’s wedding 3 years ago on July 6th. We will not forget her loving words, patience and positive outlook on life. My deepest sympathy Sharanne MacDonald
