Ervino passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the age of 90. Loving husband of 66 years to Norma Pizziga, devoted father of Gabriella Noordink (Tom), Sandra Sandall (Doug), grandfather to Brendon (Janice), Amanda (Rick), Lauren, and Ben (Rose). Great-grandfather to Bailey and Hayden, uncle to Natascha (Dubarrington). Predeceased by his brother Grozdan Piciga (Julie).
Ervino was born and raised in Dekani, Slovenia and settled in London, Ontario with his wife, Norma. He loved his job as a carpenter and worked into his 70’s. Over the years, Ervino spent his spare time on renovation projects throughout his house and those of his friends, tended to his vegetable garden, enjoyed quiet time in his warm sunroom, and spent time with family and friends at the Slovenian Cultural and Social Club of London.
Family wishes to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Victoria Hospital for their kindness and support, caring for Ervino.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Northview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 1 Fallons Lane, London on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

He was a good man who led a decent life as a family man who raised two beautiful daughters and was a devoted husband and beloved by his extended family. We will miss him dearly.
