George Frances “Harry” Coughlan

Born in Saint John, New Brunswick, George Frances Coughlan, affectionately known as “Harry”, was called home to the Lord on May 15, 2025, at McCormick Home, with his brother Jack by his side. George was the beloved son of the late George and Frances Coughlan. He leaves behind his brother Jack (Dallas), nieces Kate, Bronwyn, and Jessie, nephew Tyler, and many grand- and great-nieces and nephews. In his younger years, Harry played shortstop for the Chester Peg Diamonds and was honoured to be part of the team that won the Ontario Championship in 1963, a memory he carried fondly throughout his life. A graveside service and burial will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 806 Victoria Street, London, on Monday, May 26, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. Donations in George’s memory may be made to McCormick Care Foundation (Memory Care).
