Passed away peacefully at McGarrell Place LTC Home, on Sunday, March 1, 2020, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Bob Wood (2013). Loving mother of Joanne Merner (Darryl Whaley) and Rose Bortolussi (Rob), all of London. Proud Grandma of Michelle Merner, Kaitlyn Merner, Matthew Bortolussi (Brooke) and David Bortolussi (Mikaela); and great-Grandma of Theo and Fiona. Predeceased by her siblings. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 ~ 7:00 p.m. at NORTHVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL & CREMATION CENTRE, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London where a memorial service will be conducted on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Gwen are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex.
