Harvey Riley

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Harvey Riley on January 25, 2026. He was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn Riley (Roesner).
He is survived by his daughters Julie (Stevan Fazekas) and Lisa (Stu Poderys); grandchildren Gosh, Jakob, and Charlotte; and nieces Sherri Wylie, Rebecca Riley, and Jessica Riley.
Born on October 31, 1950, on Sanctuary Line near Clinton, Ontario, Harvey was the son of Archie and Viola Riley. He was a brother to Shirley, Dave (Joan, predeceased 2024), Clayton (predeceased 2020), Nancy (Doug), and Steve (Stella, predeceased 2025). Known as Harv, he was a friend and mentor to many in his community.
Harvey worked at Timken for much of his life but loved working on cars, on the skidoo trails, blowing snow, and mowing lawns. He will be deeply missed by his Andrews Sports family.
Memorial donations may be made to the local Humane Society or an animal rescue. The family thanks the staff of the Cardiac Care Unit at University Hospital for their care.
A Celebration of Life will be held March 28, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Masonic Hall, 42703 Fruit Ridge Line, St. Thomas, Ontario.
