Helen Patricia Fleet

September 17, 1959 - November 6, 2021

FLEET (née Buckley), Helen Patricia – After a courageous 21-month long battle with lung cancer, Helen passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Victoria Hospital in London, on November 6th, 2021, in her 62nd year.

 

Beloved wife of Gary Fleet for 41 years, best friends and soulmates since their meeting 46 years ago at Montcalm Secondary School. She will be forever loved and missed by her daughter, Courtney, and son-in-law Tom Wielogorski. Loving daughter of Margaret Buckley, daughter-in-law of Dolores Fleet, and sister of Geraldine Downing.  Loving sister-in-law to Debbie and Terry Molloy and Todd and Heather Fleet; proud aunt of B.J. Downing (Christine), Kevin Buckley, Brianna, and Caitlyn Molloy, and Jacob and Cole Fleet.  Helen is predeceased by her father Gerald Buckley; father-in-law Gerald Fleet, and brother-in-law Patrick Downing.

 

Friends will be received by the family on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue N., London.  A funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Michael’s Parish, 511 Cheapside St., London, on Friday, November 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.  Cremation to follow along with a private family interment.

 

To attend the visitation or funeral mass, registration is required and only those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 may attend the visitation.  Proof of full vaccination and identification will be required to be shown at the door, prior to entry. For those unable to attend the funeral mass, a livestream will be available.
