Dear Lea, Brenda & family -- So sorry for the loss of your dear dad. Jack was a well-loved in-law in the Farrish family. I'll miss my annual contact with him at Christmas this year. It was so nice of you to bring him to mom's service in 2024, although I know he wasn't feeling the best then. Your mom was such a good cousin to my mom and she has been so greatly missed over the years. We will try to make it to your dad's service, weather permitting. May many happy memories give you some comfort at this difficult time. God Bless, from the (Farrish) Walters family
My deepest condolences to Lea, Brenda & Family. He will surely be missed. A great friend & neighbor for many years. Bev. Neil (Harding) & Family
After a search for good place to live in London, moving from Thunder Bay, I arrived next door to the Wilson's in 1981. That was 44 years ago! It was a really lucky choice; I had no idea that Jack could climb and trim huge maple trees high in the sky! with his chainsaw, until he insisted doing so "just as a good neighbour"! As neighbours we shared many ups-and-downs in our own family journeys and Jack was as welcome here as we were all in his home. In the winters, Jack cleared neighbour's driveways during the worst snow hurricanes! In the summer he ploughed his garden growing the best cucumbers on Elmdale! One week before every Christmas, Jack would invite us over for "A Rusty Nail"! 1/2 a tumbler of Scotch and 1/2 Drambuie. Each visit, gave us all hope for a new and wonderful New Year ahead! Susan and me have lost a caring and sensitive neighbour in Jack's passing. May his many mourners be comforted by his memories. Sincerely Alvin Shapiro and Susan Hall
Lea & Brenda - so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a great guy - kind and welcoming and always willing to help with car maintenance back in the day. You will miss him. Your Dad worked with my Dad on the LFD.
I'm very sorry to hear about Jack. I wish you, Leah and Brenda, peace and lots of joy-filled memories of your dad. I have lots of fond childhood memories of both of you and your mom and dad and the neighbours we all shared with. Your parents were always warm and welcoming
We have just lost the best neighbour we ever had over the past 40 years . I am sure Jack is now in a better place free of pain. We can be thankful for the long and wonderful life he has had. Best wishes to his wonderful and dedicated family.
