I worked with Julie in the ER at South Street, LHSC. She was always a delight ! Willing to do anything that would help the nurses and patients we cared for over the years. She came to all the get togethers we had and I now have the recipe for Hazel nut cookies. I treasure the time we had with her ! Her lovely smile and quick jaunts to the labs ! She earned her place in heaven for sure ! She was very proud of her family and I send my deepest sympathy and condolences to you all. May God bless her.

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Popovich family on the passing of your mother as I know how hard it can be when your parents are gone. I grew up in the neighbourhood and knew most of the family, even worked with their father Mirko (taken to soon)and my first thoughts were of love and warmth of their mother. Grief never ends but it changes and I hope over time you will remember all the good times you enjoyed. I am sorry for your loss.

Mike and family we are sorry for your loss of your beloved mother. There is no doubt that she will be the brightest star in the sky all you have to do is look up and know she is still watching over you. Doug often said what a lovely lady your mom was when he would run into her and she would still recognize him, he would quickly remind her she still looks the same as when he was in public school and would give her a hug. She is now catching up your Dad on all he has missed. Mrs Popovich you should be proud of the job you did raising your family.

On behalf of my mother, myself and my children we would like to send our deepest condolences to Julie’s family. She was one of the kindness, loving and most genuine women in our Serbian Community. Although she was not Serbian she certainly embraced the traditions, language and people. I will forever remember her beautiful smile which would light up a room. Her warmth and charisma will never be forgotten. May you lay in peace with your beloved Mirko. You will never be forgotten. Much love to your family. May your soul be eternal and your love shine through your children. Rest In Peace lovely lady❤️❤️❤️
