“A Man of the Land”

Peacefully with family by his side, at University Hospital, on Monday, December 13, 2021, Kenneth Wilson of London, in his 92nd year. Ken is the longtime friend and husband of Helen. Special Dad to Pat (Doug) and grandfather to Becky and Gibson. Dear great-grandfather to Owen. Also survived by his sisters Velma Hillis and Anne McRoberts, many nieces and nephews, including Jim, Brooke, and Matt Wilson. Predeceased by his wife Norma (1976), parents Gordon and Nellie, brothers William and Glen, sister Shirley Cameron, and in-laws Del Hillis, Earl McRoberts, and Bev Wilson.

Ken and his family-owned Lornehurst Dairy on Fanshawe Park Road for over 50 years. He was a devoted dairy farmer who loved the farm, his John Deere tractors, dancing, and the simple things in life. We will all miss him.

Thank you to the dedicated palliative care team on the 10th floor at University Hospital for their compassionate care and to Paul Needham and the staff at Northview Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service will be conducted at Siloam Cemetery, 1560 Fanshawe Park Road East, on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ken are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
