Peacefully in London on Friday, April 29, 2022, with family by her side, Linda Gavin of London in her 75th year. Loving Mom of Jeanette Gavin of London and Jim Gavin of Buffalo, New York. Dear Sis of Kenny Arone and proud Grandma to Randi, Lee and Kristen. Sadly missed also by her good pal Connie. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Linda’s life will be announced at a later date.
Best Friends since Linda Arone was 15 and Chris was 14 years old. Never to be separated by parents or any man, or by Linda moving to London, Ontario Canada. We’re connected by speaking at least 3-5 times a week all those years, but mostly laughing. We would visit when possible. The day before she passed she called to say all the things I thought we would speak about the next day. She chose to take her life because of considerable pain. She had shared this choice and begged me not to change her mind. Which I never tried to do, it was always her choice. So she shared her love and feelings and friendship when I thought we had another day to talk. But on the day I didn’t expect she had left us. I was sitting on my patio and in that second I knew she was gone. As soon as I spoke to Jeanettte I said she’s gone, right? Jeanette said that Linda couldn’t bear to say goodbye and wanted me to think I had another day. So thoughtful of her. She was so beautiful physically and inside. And so funny. We were both Sicilian. I loved her children and her whole family. We went though so many great and fun events togeather. We always were and still are Best Friends. Now I am in close contact with her beautiful daughter Jeanette. We have formed a very close relationship, which we are very grateful for.
