I had the pleasure of working with Marnie for many years through the Age Friendly London Network. Marnie was a leader and a passionate community volunteer who advocated for women, older persons, and anyone in need. Marnie's work contributed to a safer, more equitable, and accessible London. Her many contributions are appreciated and will live on in our community. On behalf of the Age Friendly London Network, our deepest condolences to Marnie's family and loved ones. Her impact will live on in our community.

My sincere condolence for the death of Marnie Sherritt. My husband, Hugh, and I lived 2 doors away on Medway Crescent for decades, but we moved away some time ago. While we lived on Medway Crescent, we offered the use of our pool during the summer to Marnie’s grandchildren while under her supervision. So during the summer, we saw her frequently in our backyard and often discussed gardening since she was an avid gardener. Marnie was a caring but supervisory grandmother. As such a long time resident of Medway Crescent (perhaps the longest resident), she will be missed. Janet Stevenson

Marnie was an amazing lady. It was a great pleasure to serve with her during my years with the Canadian Federation of University Women - London Club. She was indeed the bedrock of the club with her vast knowledge of the club and its connections to its provincial , federal and international levels. Her energy and curiosity inspired all who knew her. She will be sorely missed.

Beth we are so sorry to hear of Aunt Marnie’s passing. Marnie was one tough cookie that has outlived all the Sherritt family and their spouses. Please share our condolences to all your family and to John’s as well.

I met Marnie 20 years ago via the TVCC Auxiliary. She was very generous with volunteering her time, especially during the Holiday Home Tour. Marnie, as a house captain, you could rely on her experience for being organized, efficient, and for her home-baked cookies. Marnie was also a very generous donor to the Thames Valley Children's Centre Auxiliary. Please know my thoughts are with the family during this time. Thank you, Marnie!

I met Marnie in the Ontario Council of Women and became a CFUW London member as a result. Marnie and I travelled to board meetings and conferences in Toronto for a number of years. Marnie was a lovely companion and I valued her greatly. My deepest condolences to her family and loved ones. I will miss her very much.
