It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria de Fatima Liberato on Friday, November 7, 2025, she passed away in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Eduardo Liberato and loving mother of Edward Liberato (Denise) and Connie Doughty (Paul). Adored Aba to Phillip (Merna); Richard (Colleen) and their daughter Sophia; Drew (Nicole) and their daughters Elizabeth, Naomi, Jordyn; and Chelsea (Myles). Dear sister of Antero, Joaquim, Joao, Sofia, Libano, Alipio, Americo, Lucilia and Emilia. Predeceased by two siblings who died in their infancy. Also loved by her family and friends.
Her strength kindness, and unwavering love shaped many lives in countless ways. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her devotion to family, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will forever remain in our hearts.
A funeral service will be conducted at Northview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Fatima are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society.

Sending all of our thoughts and love during this difficult time. We wish we could have been there to pay our respects and say our goodbyes. Tia Fatima was always a bright warm light the moment you saw her. You instantly felt her love and kindness, and she always had the biggest smile on her face. We are so deeply saddened to learn of her passing. We will truly miss Tia. She was always there, open for a visit and was therefore an instrumental part of our life.
