Mario Federico Torresan
July 9, 1931 - June 3, 2020
Passed away peacefully at Kensington Village on June 3rd, 2020. Predeceased by his wife Milena (Magro). Father to Graziano Torresan (Lorraine), Nelida Bailey (Paul) and Amalia Becker (Phill). Grandfather to Nathan (Emily), Olivia (Sam), Emma, Jessica, Matthew (Josh) and Kayla. Great-grandfather to Penny and Jos. He is survived by his sister Bruna Torresan and many nieces and nephews. Mario immigrated to Canada in 1952 and worked in the gold mines in the Timmins area for over 30 years. He and his wife moved to London, Ontario in 1981 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. A private graveside service was held at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mario are asked to consider the McCormick Care Foundation (Dementia Services).

Memories
Condolences to all the Torresan family. So very sorry for your loss. The Torresan family have been long time family friends growing up on the same street in South Porcupine a few houses apart and also in London Ontario. Many fond memories of gathering for celebrations and of course Mrs. Torresan’s wonderful cooking. The backyard garden was always impressive. You’re in my prayers. On behalf of the Hutteri family.
