Marion Lavonne Horn
December 26, 1933 - June 15, 2021
HORN (née McCracken), Marion Lavonne – Unexpectedly at University Hospital on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, Marion Horn of London, in her 88th year. In 1954, Marion married her high school sweetheart, the late Joseph Horn (July 11, 2013). She loved her career as a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Everyone who knew her felt her love and her zest for life. Marion will be sadly missed by her children: Debbie Thomas (Dave), Jo Horn, Brad Horn, and Lisa Speedie (Rick). Adored Grandma of Carisa (Garnet), Jen (Phil), Josh (Emily), Merissa (Michael), Curtis (Karly), and GG to Liam, Chase, Ethan, Xander, and James. Also loved by her sister Audrey (George) Tucker, her brother-in-law Gary McClement, her nieces, nephews, and many friends. Predeceased by her sister, Jean McClement, and an infant daughter.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a private funeral service will be conducted at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, officiated by Pastor Val Hodgins. For those unable to attend, the family welcomes you to view the service via livestream. Private interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
