Patricia Louise McGuire

July 11, 2022

It is with great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Patricia Louise McGuire on July 11, 2022, in her 93rd Year.

Beloved wife of the late James McGuire (2013), lovingly married for 65 years. Devoted and loving mother to Jimmy (2016), Dorothy (Gary) Rutter, Paul (JoAnne), Louise Duncan, Michael (Elke). Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her brother-in-law Scotty and many nieces and nephews.

Mom enjoyed a well-rounded social life keeping active in various organizations and charities. Her passions were cooking, baking, crosswords, gaming, casinos and her car rides, even if it was just around the block. Mom renewed her passion for playing the piano and keyboard and she also started to take up sewing again. She taught her family self-respect, to see the humour life offered, and the goodness in others. She was the rock of the family and as we all know, it was very important to her for us to be together for family events.

Patricia will be fondly remembered as a kind, generous, caring woman who was adored by all.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. If desired, memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

We used to call her our' little Leprechaun', because she always was so happy, and bubbly, and made everyone else feel that way too!
