Raymond Arthur Elliott

March 8, 2024

On March 8, 2024; a husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather left us way too soon.
Rest in peace teamster, keep the greasy side down and stay out of the mud.
This isn’t goodbye, it’s just see you at the next stop.
Love ya, you’ve taught was well. We’ve got this.

As per Raymond’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family memorial will be arranged at a later date.

There are no words to express how sad to see Ray go, we love you all and know what a loss it is to you all. Remember all the good times. We had many good times on the course and so many laughs over the years. I remember how much he made me love ice cream (inside joke). Bev, it still makes me laugh. Love Sharon and Doug

I have many fond memories of Raymond. When I was 10 years old he worked at my uncle Jim's trucking company. When I was 13 we both raced go-karts. Uncle Jim would have Raymond take me to Bothwell to race. He was always telling stories that likely I should not of heard. As I grew up Raymond and my father were truck drivers, so they were together through out the years. After trucking, they both became Teamster Union representatives. My memories of Raymond carried on through out my life at car races, trips to Mexico and at get together of friends and relatives. He always had time to talk and tell tales of the past. I will always cherish our times together. Mary Lou and I will miss him and his stories.
