Peacefully with family by his side in London on February 1, 2024, Raymond Eric Cameron in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Denise for 59 years, loving father to Donna and Sherry. Adored Papa to Chelsea and James (Meagan). Dear great-grandpa to Aubrey and Paisley. Ray was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia to Alan and Marie Cameron (both predeceased). Dear brother to the late Alan (the late Sandra), the late Donald (Lucy), Sharon Marcon (the late Albino), the late Heather Prosser (the late Marwood), Linda Hachez (Bob), Clarke (Debbie), the late Kenny (Debbie) and Susan Furness. Uncle to many loved nieces and nephews. Ray was a retired Ironworker with Local 700 Windsor for over 35 years. At Ray’s request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Ray’s life will be held at a later date.
So, don’t wait till the bye and bye,
To say a prayer to the one on high,
For men on whom we all rely,
Bless the Ironworker in the sky.
