Rosa Rodrigues Graca Ferreira, born in Freguesia Fermela in Portugal, passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital in her 98th year. Beloved mother of Fatima (Americo) Simoes, Joe Ferreira, George (Heide) Ferreira. Adored grandmother of Silvia (Bert) Bettencourt, Denise (Greg) Tunks, Nicole (Kevin) Ferreira, Michelle (Dani) Delle Donne, Jonathon (Erica) Ferreira, Chantelle (Kyryll) Odobetskiy, and Ashley (Corey) Hicks. Rosa will be dearly missed by her 14 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Austin, Tyler, Dylan, Emilia, Greyson, Isaac, Gabriella, Brooklyn, Adelyn, Charlie, Nikolai, Elliott and Jake. Rosa was widowed by her husband, Jose Ferreira.
Family was very important to Rosa. She was very involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rosa could often be found cheering on the sidelines of the hockey, football, soccer, dance and other events of her loved ones. Rosa has always been our number one cheerleader and we know that she will always be with us in spirit. Rosa was loved by everyone she knew and would light up a room with her infectious smile, which will be remembered forever.
Please join us at Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London for visitation on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Parkwood Hospital and Chartwell Riverside Retirement Residence.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Diabetes Canada or London Regional Cancer Program in Rosa’s memory.

Dear Fatima, Americo, Sylvia, Denise, Michelle and families, I want to express my sincerest condolences in this extremely difficult time for you. I know how much Rosa meant to you. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.
