Peacefully at University Hospital, on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, Ruben Watts of London, in his 98th year, went to be with his Lord. Ruben was born and raised in Namaka, Alberta, the youngest of nine children. Beloved husband of Dorothy (née Greenhow) for 58 years. Loving father of Matthew Watts (Amanda Gould) and Anna Watts. Adored grandfather of Tristan Watts. Also loved by his extended family and friends. A funeral service will be conducted at Northview Funeral Chapel and Cremation Centre, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Siloam Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ruben are asked to consider North Park Community Church.

Dear Dorothy, we were saddened to read about Ruben's passing in the London Free Press on March 15. You had a very long and happy marriage with him. We hope you will have ample time to mourn his death and to be comforted by God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Rejoice that Ruben is now in heaven with his Lord and Saviour. John and Louise Hush

Ruben was such a wonderful man. Having grown-up two doors over and spending so much time together, Ruben holds a special place in my heart. He was a kind, compassionate and fun loving person. I have fond memories of him showing me his rock tumbling equipment in the basement, how to make a neon sign, playing in the Volkswagen camper van in the driveway, and talking about his tennis and wind surfing. I enjoyed our visits and phone calls in the later years. On behalf of the Balsdon family, we extend our deepest sympathies to Dorothy, Anna and Matthew.❤️

My Uncle Reuben was a special Uncle . We didn’t live close but he was so good to phone .He and Dorthy took a special interest in our family . He called often to ask how his sister ,my Mom was doing . Mom passed away at 106 years old . I’ll miss his calls . Love and prayers for Dorthy and family . Robert and Dian
