Russell Lloyd Paul

April 29, 2026

Suddenly, surrounded by his children, on April 29, 2026, Russell Lloyd Paul passed away at LHSC University Hospital in his 88th year.

Russell will be dearly missed by his children, Jondah (Tom) and Shannon; his grandchildren, Gord (Abra) and Taylor (Chris); and his great-grandchildren, Kieran and Carson. He is predeceased by his wife, Ardell, and his son, Kyle.

Born in Hornepayne, Ontario, Russell later moved to Capreol as a teenager, where he met his wife, Ardell. Russell began his career at Lowphos Ore and later relocated to London, where he worked as a millwright at Wolverine Tube for many years.

Russell had a deep love for sports, especially as an avid Blue Jays fan. He also found great joy on the golf course, spending many happy hours playing the game he loved.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his strong work ethic. His presence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Russell requested there be no memorial service; interment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Jays Care Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
