Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, on Thursday, February 3, 2022, Ruth Mott of London, in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late Allen Wells Mott. Loving mother of Steven (Qin), Blair (Maggie), and David. Adored grandmother of Kyle, Allena, Abbey, and Victoria. Also loved by her extended family and friends.
Books, genealogy, and the Spicer family tree research were Ruth’s passions.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ruth are asked to consider the London Legion Track & Field (her emotional attachment to sport started with Allen looking “hot in shorts” as a high school track athlete, Blair’s myriad athletic successes made her so proud and she reveled in joyful grandkid recounts of their fun) or to support the LB Pearson School for the Arts Piano Lab because Victoria sure needs to practice!

David & family, I am very saddened to hear of your mom's passing..my deepest condolences to you and all your family..it was a privilege to be able to help your mom and I looked forward to our weekly visits...I will miss her immensely...her love of her children, grandchildren and family always shone through during our many conversations...you all were the light of her life...may the cherished memories help you all through this difficult time...rest in peace dear sweet lady.
