When angels sing on high
The sky is filled with light
And sounds of bells toll near and far
To herald a wondrous sight.
On Wednesday, February 9, 2022, another Earth Angel had earned her wings.
Laureen Eva May Rutledge, loving wife of the late Robert George Rutledge, ascended to the arms of our Lord and a joyful reunion was held as she embraced those who had gone before her.
Remembered with love and gratitude by children: Laureen (Frank) Maurizio, and Allan Rutledge; grandchildren: Devon (Catherine), Ariel (Brett) and Jayme (Paul); great-grandchildren Taylor, Kaylee, Laila, Carter, Jayden, Khloe, Bretton, Cody and Cheyenne; and countless extended family members. Special thanks to cousin, Vicky Hobson for her unending support.
A private funeral service will be conducted at Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Private interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Eva are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

I remember spending many days with Aunt Eva and her family at their trailer in Port Frank's when I was a boy. She bought me a comic book at the store on the corner that I kept for like 5 years. Prayers from our family are with you all. 🙏
It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to our Aunt Eva. We will always remember her as a kind, caring, giving person who treated everyone with respect, dignity and grace. May she Rest In Peace! Dan & Marianne

I have great memories of Eva going back well over 60 years. She was always happy to see friends and family and to share time with them. Eva enjoyed life and dealt with major family and personal tragedies with strength, courage and her strong religious faith. Eva took a great interest in genealogy and family history which she shared with those interested. I last saw Eva about a year ago, and we had a very pleasant conversation on her front porch (covid). Her smile and love of life will be missed by many. Barb and I extend our condolences to Eva's family and friends. Wayne Campbell
