Sandy and I met in kindergarten at st. Martin’s Catholic school. The same school where our mothers had gone before us. Old south London was a lot smaller then . We were bonded instantly because we both recognized at the same moment how unfair our world was . We were NOT getting any smarties even though many of the children in circle were . The nuns in black and white cloths were clearly mean spirited and unfair :) We spent our summers walking up and down Wortley Rd , swimming in her family pool on Cathcart and “ rockin to the crocodile rock “. We grew up and apart and back again. She is my oldest friend and in many ways we were related by more than genetics . I know my sadness can not compare to her little family . She loved being a mom and a wife . Dear John, Jessie and Nicole; my deepest sympathy . They say life goes on but with a little less color now that she’s gone . I loved her, will miss her and will cherish all the good memories she provided me. She will always be close in my heart ❤️

John and family, I worked with Sandy years ago at O’Brien’s Pub. I just finally read Saturday’s paper today and I couldn’t believe my eyes seeing Sandy’s obituary. I’m in total disbelief. I’ve ran into her occasionally over the years but just this past summer I saw her 2 or 3 times at my work ( The Waltzing Weasel ) and we were able to catch up a bit. I will never forget her always smiling face! My sincere condolences to everyone!

I send prayers of hope, peace and strength to John and the family. I worked with Sandy as another Paratransit Driver at Voyago for a few years and she was one of the best co-workers you could ever hope to work with. Especially on difficult work days, her smile, laugh and sense of humour brought a smile and laughter to me and other drivers she worked along side with. I cherish those work place memories. Sandy made a difference in people's lives positively not only the clients she transported but the people she worked with. May she rest in Peace. God Bless John and the family.

Dear John and girls. So very sorry for your loss she will be missed by all of us. I'm sure she told you John that we ran into each other a couple of years ago and it was great to see her again. She always made me smile. Take care of all those other girls.

I worked with Sandy for many years. I loved her. She had a wonderful spirit and a kind heart. She was so funny. I remember telling her, you should try aquafit for your arthritis. She used to go to the aquafit class at Wolseley barracks, then she went to Goodlife and was like a machine, exercising all the time and she said it really helped her arthritis. I remember taking care of her dog one time when she was on vacation in sunny Jamaica (a place she loved). When she got back from that trip, she called me at 4am and said can I come get him now? Sure, I said,,, she loved that dog so much. We had such good times at parties over the years. Great memories. She will be so very missed by everyone, especially the love of her life, John. My condolences to John and the girls. It will be so tough for them now without Sandy. God Bless you all.
