Stella Marie Gaudet (née LeBlanc)

Stella Gaudet, at the age of 80, passed away on May 11, 2026 with her family by her side at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario after a brief illness.
Stella was born in Fox Creek, New Brunswick. She was the beloved wife to Raymond for over 60 years and devoted mother to Linda (Al) Amos, Jimmy (Sandra) Gaudet. Cherished Nanny to her grandchildren Ryan Amos, Alexandra Taylor, Katie Amos, Camryn Gaudet, and Heather Gaudet. She is fondly remembered by her surviving family, especially Emilie Gillis and Leonard Gauvin, and a large circle of loved ones from both the LeBlanc and Gaudet families.
Predeceased by her mother Elda Gauvin; Her grandparents Zoel and Marie LeBlanc, and her family: Laurie LeBlanc, Edgar LeBlanc, Rosee Poirier, Raymond LeBlanc, Gerard LeBlanc, Valmont LeBlanc. The family would like to thank the dedicated ICU team for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Northview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (1490 Highbury Avenue North, London) on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, followed by reception at Northview Funeral Home. Memorial contributions in memory of Stella can be made to the Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre.

I have so many wonderful memories of my kind Aunt Stella. She never raised her voice, and always had patience of a saint. I was fortune enough to spend two weeks with her, Uncle Raymond, and my nanny in NB when I was 12. She must have been crazy to include my sister and I on her trip. Let’s just say there was a little bit of arguing between us sister, but she never lots her patience with us ❤️

Although we only had the privilege of meeting Stella a few times, it was easy to see the love, strength, and warmth she carried for her family. She was clearly a remarkable matriarch whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Our hearts and sympathies are especially with you Linda and Al, Ryan/Meredith, Alex/Maddy, and Katie/Brennan during this difficult time. May your cherished memories of Stella bring comfort, peace, and strength in the days ahead.
