It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Steve Medeiros at Victoria Hospital on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the age of 53. Steve was a loyal husband to his loving wife Helen (Elabd) and a devoted father to his children Arabella and Easton. Predeceased by his father Honorio Medeiros. Left to grieve are his mother Albertina, his siblings Isabel Desando (Fred), Honoria Baldinelli (Tony), George Medeiros, and Diana Medeiros. Loved uncle of Emily, Brandon, Kimberly, Natalie, and great uncle to Nickolas. Also loved by his father and mother-in-law Abrahim and Nayfa Elabd; his in-laws Ferial Afara (Ali), Joe Elabd (Jill), Hiam Elabd (Samir), and Hiasam Elabd (Rene); and their children Chady, Joey, Ryan, Youssef, Toufic, Shareen, Jada, Deanna, and Mya.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Northview Funeral Chapel, 1490 Highbury Avenue North, London, Ontario where the funeral service will take place on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Steve are asked to consider Ronald McDonald House Southwestern Ontario.

Steve was part of this group. Always laughing, very positive, just a good guy. Never missing a funny but also very caring. In the past few months had spoken to Steve I went to Portugal, so sent him pics. Now looking back,Steve was probably in the hospital but still took the time to acknowledge my excitement. My deepest condolences to Steve's entire family. He was one of a kind, always had a smile to share and could make you laugh until your sides ached. He was a big part of my friend group in our twenties and always added fun to everything we did. I visited him in the hospital several months ago and a nurse had to come and close the door because he had me laughing so hard. He will surely be missed.

Our sincere condolences to Steve's family. Although we had not seen each other for many years I was one of his friends that worked together at Ault Foods in London and hung around with Steve in our 20s and had many times together rafting, summer fun olympics, and many parties. Steve was a really hard worker, a great friend, and was always fun to be around. I am sure Steve was a Great Father and Husband too. We can see you in a Better Place with Your Blue IROC Shining in the Sun Steve !!!
