Met this amazing woman 50 yrs ago through her daughter Cathy. It has been a great privilege knowing her. Her one-liners were legendary. Love you Mrs. Chips

A diamond in the rough! Sorry for your loss.

Chips and Charlie were very big in the lives of my parents, John and Peg Colohan. They spent many days and evenings together in London and Grand Bend, with much laughter involved. After Dad passed at Longworth Long Term Care in 2014, and Mum became a dementia resident there for six years, Chips remained a faithful friend long after Mum was no longer able to recognize her. Chips would phone me regularly to ask about my mum, and have the visit with me she could no longer have in person at the nursing home. My love and sympathy goes to the family of this lovely, always charming and elegant lady.

I never knew Sylvia very well just to speak to her when our paths crossed. But did know Charlie when we worked together at Donley’s chicken farm years ago. He was such a nice guy.

I never knew Sylvia only to speak to her whenever our paths crossed. But I got to know Charlie years ago when we worked together for Alan Donley on his chicken farm. Many years later Charlie stopped to talk to me when I was working for Bell. I was working on the side of a road near Tillsonburg and he came along and stopped to talk. Such a nice guy he was.

Chips and Charlie were a great neighbours to both Andy and I. Walking across the lawn for a visit or to deliver goodies. Always with a smile and a kind word. Cherish the memories.
