Valanne May Mascotto

At University Hospital on Sunday, March 1, 2020, with family by her side, Mrs. Valanne May Mascotto of London passed peacefully in her 87th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Lino for over 62 years. Loving Mom of Anne Marie Ferretti (Claudio), children Nicla (Nicola), Alessandra (Enzo) and granddaughters Julia, Emma, Chiara and Sara; Mark Mascotto (Pamela), children Alexandra and Luke; Leanne Johnston (Joe), children Hayden (Ashley) and Aleeya (Anthony); Kent Mascotto (Michelle), children Samantha and Thomas, and grandson Theodore; Elysa Mascotto, children Andrea, Michaela, and Samuel. Valanne will also be missed by her brother John Fraser (Maragaret) and children James, Jordan, Niki and the late John Paul; and by her sister Marion Pritchard (Ross) and children Ian and Leah. As the children of Lino and Valanne, their sense of adventure has given us the desire to travel and the confidence to take risks. The example that they have been has made us better parents. Their compassion has made us better people. And their long love affair has been inspiring. The funeral service will be conducted at NORTHVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1490 Highbury Avenue North (at Kilally), on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.
